This is exactly why we have collaborated with these amazing artists, animal caregivers themselves, who will ensure your pet’s cremains will be treated with extraordinary care and respect as they create their unique and amazing masterpieces.

Dog cremations, cat cremations as well, are becoming more and more commonplace as the preferred choice for many individuals and families. These customized, colourful works of art not only celebrate the legacy of a beloved pet as an innovative, inspirational resting place, but they are designed to enhance the home as well making them sensitive and thoughtful gift ideas, sincere expressions of empathy for those suffering from loss.

Daniel Vargas

Glass Artist Master

Internationally acclaimed “Glass master”, Daniel Vargas became the first artist of his kind in British Columbia when he immigrated to Canada in 1976, having learned the art of blowing glass as a child from his talented father growing up in the artisan colony of Tlaquepaque, Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Now, one of the foremost contemporary Canadian artists, Daniel works from his Arte Vargas Glass Blowing Studio in Maple Ridge, creating exquisite hand blown and hot worked glass objects of art for an appreciative clientele worldwide. No molds are used in the making of these incredible, original, personally signed art pieces. Referencing the great Mexican and European glass blowing traditions, his classic shapes are given iridescent, fumed finishes for a distinct Art Nouveau style.

In addition to our “pet love inspired” WiskerToriums, innovative, original pet urns for cats and dogs, Arte Vargas produces a line of vases, perfume bottles, paper weights and unique sculptural works of art depicting Canadian wildlife (cranes, eagles, bears, birds, moose, elk, big horn sheep) and other domestic animals (roosters, swans, horses and pigs). Featured in various galleries across Western Canada, Daniel’s distinctive glass creations can be found in many private and corporate collections throughout the world.

Vargas has become famous as well for his magnificent chandeliers. Veritable kaleidoscopes of individual hand blown pieces artistically connected together to create a unique and spectacular effect, these extraordinary masterpieces grace the entrances, hallways and great rooms of various restaurants, hotels and homes throughout North America.
